After the October 9th & 10th Guiri Business Jobs Con & Expo, we asked for attendees to give feedback about their experience and we had a great number of you who took time to respond. Thank you for your efforts. We received very helpful feedback.
IF YOU MISSED IT, VIEW OUR AFTER-EVENT SUMMARY HERE
Overall, it appears that the majority felt – as we did – that the event was a valuable experience for our community and helped us build bridges with many of our members, recruiters, business associations, business suppliers and local city officials, that want to further advance local international business in Barcelona and beyond. At least 80% of you felt it was Good to Excellent that you attended.
The overwhelming majority of you felt that the Friday to Saturday timing works the best with 98% saying you would at least make an effort to attend in this format compared to the 30-40% of you that would most likely not be able to attend if the event was during the week only.
The Communication and Registration of the event received by far the highest ratings of approval with the AV and Location receiving the lowest rankings but still quite positive for a free event.
The Expo and Conference value ranked positive (sufficient to excellent) but we received many good suggestions on how to improve – which we are already taking into consideration. As well, more Networking was the one thing that many of you discussed or mentioned in your suggestions for the future events.
We do agree that the location was nice looking but as many of you mentioned; the sound, layout, AV and convenience of location could be better for a business event. Already, we have decided to move our group networking drinks back to Quinto Quinta (formally Cinco Jotas in Las Arenas, Pla. España) and we looking for a more professional location for the next expo and conference.
We like to thank all of Guiri Business LinkedIn Group members that attended the event and participated in the survey. We also are happy to announce that the winner of the Lavazza Espresso machine is Marta Zuazua.
